Cathy Johnson, daughter of Wayne Collins and the late Joyce Dingus Collins was born in Jenkins, Kentucky January 21, 1964. She entered eternal life Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 56 years, 6 months and 11 days of age at the time of her passing.

Cathy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, momaw, sister and friend to all that knew her. She had been married to Mark Johnson for 34 years. Cathy enjoyed teaching, weekends at the lake and spending time with her grandchildren and family. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Johnson of Jenkins, Kentucky. Her father, Wayne Collins of Jenkins, Kentucky. One son, Logan (Haley) Johnson of Whitesburg, Kentucky and a daughter, Emily Johnson of Jenkins, Kentucky. One sister, Sharon Bevins of Jenkins, Kentucky.

Also surviving are three grandchildren; Lane, Lincoln, Lawson and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2020 6-9 p.m. at Burdine Freewill Baptist Church with Funeral at the church on Thursday, August 6 at 12 p.m.
