Obituary for Mr. Avery Reid Damron

Avery Reid Damron age 59, of Chickamauga, Georgia went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday – December 20, 2016. He was born in Clintwood, Virginia to the late Avery and Shirley Rose Artrip Damron. He had worked in the coal mines of Jenkins, Kentucky, Queen Carpet in Dalton, Georgia and Tennant Floor Cleaning Sales & Service. He was a member of Harbor Lights Baptist Church in LaFayette, Georgia. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He was an avid Georgia Bulldawgs Fan and a member of the Chattanooga-Northwest Georgia Bulldawg Club. He was also an avid Dodge Truck enthusiast, especially Cummins Diesel Dodge Trucks. He is survived by his wife: Eudina Adayle “Dayle” Bradshaw Damron of Chickamauga, GA, their children: Sandy DeLynn (Richard) Berryhill of Jenkins, KY, Charla DeAnn (Brad) Thompson of LaFayette, GA, Wimberly Shalleene (Joshua) Pickard of Chickamauga, GA, grandchildren: Hannah Brown, Haley Berryhill, Patrick Griffin, Madison Thompson, Mason Thompson, Adira Pickard, great-grandchildren: Brynlee Brown and Kamryn Brown, his mother-in-law: Mary Bradshaw, nephew: Lee Bradshaw, several aunts and uncles.
