David Wright age 65, of Jenkins, passed away February 27, 2024, at Whitesburg ARH. He was born on December 31, 1958, to the late Orville and Mae Holland Wright. He was a member of the Seco Free Will Baptist Church and an assistant Fire Chief and member of the Jenkins Fire Department for thirty-three years.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; Wendell Wright, Norman Wright, Darrell Wright, one sister; Deborah Wright.
He is survived by two sons; Christopher Wright of Jenkins, Dustin Wright of Kemper, TX, four brothers; Gary Wright of Valrico, FL, Jeffrey Wright of Lexington, Timothy Wright of Seco, Matthew Wright of Neon, four sisters; Amy Wright of Fleming Neon, Nelda Taylor of Fleming Neon, Martha Bentley of McRoberts, Karen Phillips of Fleming Neon, two grandchildren; Mason Wright, Jackson Wright. Along with a special friend; William Pannell and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:00PM at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Rocky Craft officiating. Burial will follow in the McRoberts Cemetery at McRoberts. Visitation will begin on Saturday after 6:00PM at the Funeral Home with services beginning at 7:00PM.
