Fields, Ron W, age 82, of Brookville, Ohio, peacefully passed away on December 3, 2023. Ron was a beloved son, devoted husband, caring father and grandfather, brother, and a loyal friend. Born on May 8, 1941, in Jenkins, Kentucky, Ron's life was a testament to the values of faith, family, and hard work. In his early years, he met the love of his life, Brenda. On November 6, 1963, they embarked on a journey of 60 years of marriage, filled with devotion and companionship. In his professional life, Ron worked for 30 years at Chrysler and retired there. Ron's faith was an integral part of his life. He was a faithful member of the Englewood church of Christ, where he served as a deacon from 2011-2020. He served the church with teaching and occasional preaching, generous benevolence to others, and reaching out to the community to share his faith. He found comfort and encouragement in his study of the scriptures. He enjoyed traveling with Brenda to the Atlantic and Gulf Coast to visit friends and family. He also loved listening to folk and country music, enjoying a good meal, and sharing family history and humorous stories.  Ron will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Brenda Fields; his daughters, Lisa Turner and Nicole Matthews; his grandchildren, Emily Prosise, Kaylie Turner, Alexis Matthews, and Autumn Matthews; his sons-in-law, Bill Turner and Steven Matthews; his grandson-in-law, Justice Prosise; great-grandson, Ronan Prosise; and his dear brother and sisters, Gayle Wilson, Tom Fields, and Mary Fields. Ron W. Fields will be remembered for his sincere faith and his dedication to his family. He looked forward to finally meeting the God, whom he had spent much of his life contemplating and obeying. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor his memory. The funeral arrangements are being handled by the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home in Brookville, Ohio.
