Kay Don Holmes, 79, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd surrounded by his family. He was born in McRoberts, KY. and was a retired truck driver for the Courier Journal. He was an Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Sanders Holmes, wives, Donna Holmes and Gertrude Ann Holmes, a son, Timothy John Holmes, brothers, Allen Dale Holmes and James Holmes.

Survivors include his children, Troy Holmes (Kim) and Donna Holmes both of Clarksville, brothers, Johnny Holmes of Floyds Knobs and Layne Holmes of Clarksville, sisters, Bobbie Vanover of Georgetown, IN., Melody Bentley of Memphis, Arkansas, Pamela Davis (Chuck) of Wichita, Kansas and Chinky Leuthart (Bob) of Clarksville, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 24 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.chapmanfuneralhome.net
