Wanda Rose (Pratt)

Wanda Faye Pratt, 74, died at her home in McRoberts on February 25.

She was the youngest daughter of the late Elbert and Ethel Rose, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Rose and Billy Rose; a sister, Patsy Yonts; and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Rose.

Surviving are her “man from the mountains” of 56 years, Billy T Pratt; two sons, James Pratt and wife Monica, and William Pratt and wife Paula; two sisters, Yvonne Pratt of Abingdon, Va., and Judy Bowen and husband Doug of McRoberts; two brothers, Buford Rose and wife Jackie of Glen Burnie, Md., and Bobby Rose of Frankfort, Ohio; four grandchildren, Whitney Castle, Montana Pratt, Sianna Pratt and Reece Hall; a great-grandchild, Nova Adams; and a special friend, Elaine Mullins.

Mrs. Pratt was a simple woman who loved simple things. She was a lover of birds, flowers, and rainy nights on her porch swing. She always offered warm food and a place to rest when needed.

Her memorial service will be held from 2 to 6 pm. today (Wednesday, March 3) at Polly & Craft Funeral Home in Jenkins.
