Adrian Hughes - Class Of 1965

Adrian Hughes, 68, of Richmond, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born July 16, 1947 in Burdine, Kentucky to Clarence Ralph and Dema Crabtree Hughes. 

He was a supervisor for the Ford Motor Company in Livonia, Michigan for 37 years and a member of the Missionary Church in Walled Lake, Michigan. Mr. Hughes was an Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War, a member of the Kentucky Colonels and also the Kentucky Thumb Pickers. He served his country with honor becoming a sergeant after 8 months in the army.

He was very well known for his impressive musical skills. He played guitar, banjo and mandolin. He loved his family and God. He was good and helpful to everyone. He was a good and talented man who died too soon. 

In addition to his wife, Patricia Ann Robinson, he is survived by three sons; Adrian Travis (Sarah) Hughes of Paducah, KY, Merle Westley (Maureen) Hughes of Lexington, KY and Forrest Clay (Sarah) Hughes of Detroit, MI. Mr. Hughes is also survived by a daughter, Tara Ann (Edgar) Migliaccio of Richmond, KY, three brothers, Larry Hughes, Cecil Hughes and Joel Hughes and two sisters, Anna Rae Hall and Kathy Hughes. He is survived by grandchildren, Natasha, Elena, Alyssa, Alexandria, Abby, Westley, Aiden, Corena, Thor and Milo and great-grandchildren Lilith and Damien. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janice Little.
