Elena Dobbins, age 72, of Neon, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Holston Valley Medical Center of Kingsport, Tennessee.  She was born on January 26, 1945 at McRoberts, Kentucky to the late Charles Richard Lee, Sr. and Sedelia Back Lee.  Elena was a member of the Ladie’s Auxiliary of the American Legion. 

   She was also preceded in death by one brother: Charles Richard Lee, Jr. and by one sister: Dorothy Jean Rains.

   Ms. Dobbins is survived by one daughter: Melissa Wurschmidt of Neon, Kentucky; one brother: James Lee of Haymond, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Richard Allen Adams of Neon, Kentucky, Kevin Chase Wurschmidt of Mayking, Kentucky and Nancy Selena Wurschmidt of Neon, Kentucky; two great grandchildren: Alexis Spangler and Nova Adams; along with a host of other family and many friends to mourn her passing. 

     Visitation for Ms. Dobbins will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Polly & Craft Funeral Chapel of Jenkins; with family viewing at 5:00 PM. The family will then receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

   Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the Carty Funeral Chapel of Neon, Kentucky with Bishop Willie Lamb officiating.

  Burial will follow in the McRoberts Cemetery located in McRoberts, Kentucky
