Maysville-Long time administrator, Sammy "Sam" Wallace Hall, 67, passed away Tuesday, at Kenton Pointe Care Center.  He was born on January 1, 1948 to the late Sam and Flora Quillen Hall. Sam graduated from Jenkins High School and received a bachelor's and master's degree from Morehead State University.  He began his career in education in Maysville City Schools in 1970 as a teacher, was a principal at Maysville Jr. High 1972-1983, and principal at the Maysville High School 1983- 1991.  Sam was associate principal at Mason County High School 1991-1994, principal at Mason County Middle School 1994-1996, and worked as an administrator in Mason County Central Office 1996-1997.  He was employed at Bracken County School System 2001-2012 as interim principal at Bracken County High School and was then Director of Pupil Personnel.  He was a member of National Education Association, Kentucky Education Association, and Kentucky Association of School Administrators.  He is survived by his wife, Karen Slucher Hall whom he married June 28, 2003.  He is also survived by his son, Keith A. (Leah) Hall of Prospect, KY; a step-son, Micah D. (Allison) Amstutz of Maysville; and a step-daughter, Wendi D. (Keith) Lenard of Wyandotte, MI; four grandchildren, Baleigh Gilvin, Mackenzie Amstutz, Rory Falkenberg, and Wesley Lenard.  He is also survived by a brother, Steven D. Hall of Whiteburg, KY; and his mother-in-law, Lucile Wilborn of MaysLick.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ava Jean Hall Baker and Phyllis Ann Hall Williams.  Funeral will be 11 am on Friday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Maysville.  Burial will be at MaysLick Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2-9 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Ewing Christian Church.  Condolences may be sent to mooreandparkerfh.com
