Lucille Johnson (Bentley) VIEW PROFILE

Lucille Johnson Bentley, age 71, of Jenkins, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday- March 12, 2017 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital of Whitesburg, Kentucky.  She was born on June 19, 1945 in Jenkins, Kentucky to the late Emit Hassel Johnson and Bessie Johnson.   She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Eastern Star.

    Mrs. Bentley was also preceded in death  by her loving husband, Dennis Bentley; three brothers: Arlie Johnson, Homer (Betty) Johnson, Guy (Irene) Johnson and by one sister: Gladius Hiatt.

   She is survived by one sister: Viola Williams of Jenkins, Kentucky; one sister-in-law: Jean Johnson of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; one brother-in-law: Vernon Hiatt of Iowa; a host of nieces and nephews; along with other family and many friends to mourn her passing.

   Visitation will be held at the Polly & Craft Chapel on Tuesday-March 14, 2017 in Jenkins, Kentucky.  Family Viewing will be at 5:00 PM, Public Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  The Order of The Eastern Star will conduct a ceremony at 7:30 PM.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday-March 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel with Pastor Allen Culbertson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery at Marshall's Branch in Jenkins, Kentucky.
