Barbara Little Blood (Cantrell) - Class Of 1956

Barbara Little Blood Cantrell, age 76, of McRoberts, Kentucky, passed away  on Saturday July 5, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee.  She was born on April 7, 1938 at McRoberts, Kentucky and lived most of her life in Letcher County, Kentucky.  Ms. Cantrell was a homemaker and attended the Cornerstone Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed by many. 

   She was a daughter of the late Sherwood and Myrtle Fleming Little.  She was also preceded in death by two husbands, David L. Blood and Millard Cantrell; her companion of seventeen years, Bobby Thompson; and two sisters, Myrtle Bartley, of Michigan, and Shelby Mullins, of McRoberts, Kentucky.

   She is survived by three daughters, Donna Kaye Marvelli, of Beverly Hills, Florida, Diana Lee Caudill (Glenn), and Elizabeth Faye Middaugh Gibson (Avery), both of McRoberts, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Danielle Hollin, Derrick Hollin, Darren Hollin, Amber Caudill Blair, Erin Caudill Chaffins, David Middaugh and Kaylee Middaugh; ten great-grandchildren; fifteen brothers and sisters, Lester Little, Anna Sparks, Billie Jean Fleming, Deborah White, Mildred Mullins (Pejib), all of McRoberts, Kentucky, Rose Mary Collins, of Lenoir, North Carolina, Sherry Brown, of North Carolina, Ralph Little, of Neon, Kentucky, David Little, of Jenkins, Kentucky, Freddie Little, of Lexington, Kentucky, Jack Little, of South Carolina, Deeda Tilley, of McRoberts, Kentucky, Irene Seahorne, of Florida,   Linda Bullion, of Ohio and Annaline Johnson, of Pike County, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. 

   Visitation will be held on Sunday July 6, 2014 after 6:00 PM and on Monday July 7, 2014 after 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church, Ermine, Kentucky.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church with Frank Holbrook and Harold Craft officiating.  Interment will follow at the Sparks Cemetery, McRoberts, Kentucky.
