Larry Smallwood, 66, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Sept. 1, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Jenkins, he was the son of the late Rudolf and Ruth Smallwood. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Howard Duff; sister-in-law, Susan Allen; and brother-in-law, John Duff.

Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Smallwood; son Jon Smallwood of Hermitage, Tenn.; two sisters, Brenda (John) Clark and Dottie (Ed) Benningfield; two brothers, Alvin (Linda) Smallwood and Virgil (Georgann) Smallwood; mother-in-law Geneva Duff; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was Methodist by faith and was a 1969 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He was a CPA and first worked for James R. Meaney, where he became a partner. Larry also worked at Avery & Smallwood, where he retired in October 2012.
