Obituary

    Isaiah M. Nixon, son of Michael Edwin Nixon and Melinda Carol Bates Vance was born in Oberland, Ohio, October 13, 1997.  He entered eternal life Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Jenkins, Kentucky being 15 years, 9 months and 20 days of age at the time of his passing.

     Isaiah enjoyed playing video games, riding four wheelers, fishing and was and avid UK fan.  He attended the Jenkins High School and was going into the 10th grade this year.

     He is survived by his mother, Melinda Vance and husband Jimmy Vance of Jenkins, Kentucky.  Father, Michael E. Nixon of Loraine, Ohio.  Maternal grandparents; Calvin and Patricia Bates of Jenkins, Kentucky.  Paternal Grandparents; Thomas and Christine Nixon of Elyria, Ohio.  One brother, Michael Nixon of Jenkins, Kentucky.  Two step brothers; Bryan Stambaugh of Duffield, Virginia and Dalton Vance of Jenkins, Kentucky.  Two sisters; Makala Cheyanne Stambaugh of Jenkins, Kentucky and Desire-e' Nixon of Elyria Ohio.  Two step sisters; Brook Vance of Jenkins, Kentucky and Raven Laughfin of Elyria, Ohio.  A special cousin, John Bullock.

     Also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

     Isiah was preceded in death by a step sister, Jessica Hall. A grandmother, Hazel Lawson.  His step father, Warren Stambaugh. Uncle, Calvin Bates.
