Rodger Lee Mullins - Class Of 1964

 Obituary

Rodger Lee Mullins, age 65, of Shelby, Ohio, passes away late Wednesday evening March 16, 2011, at the Mansfield Medical Central Hospital, Mansfield, Ohio.  He was born on June 2, 1945, at Beefhide, Kentucky, and lived most of his adult life in Mansfield, Ohio.  Disabled at the time of his passing, he ad worked at coal mining earlier in life.  He was a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran.  Rodger was of the Baptist faith.

He was a son of the late Cody & Lula Youngblood Mullins.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Deskins Mullins, Shelby, Ohio; two daughters, Angie Burkhalter, Rockwood Tennessee, and Nancey Mullins, Shelby, Ohio; a son, Roger "Buddy" Mullins, Jr., of Shelby, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Britany, D.J., Austin, Tori Jo, Tara, Katie, and Dakota; a great-grandaughter, Kaydence; three sisters, Shirlene Wood, Leavittsburg, Ohio, Shelia Adams, Whitesburg, Kentucky and Josephine Crace, Jenkins Kentucky; four brother, Bobby Mullins, Wendell Mullins, Johnny Mullins, all of Jenkins, Kentucky, and Dairl Mullins, of Arizona; and a host of other relatives and friends.
