My Sister, Janis, was my dearest friend. When We were younger, she was my babysitter. As we grew into adulthood she became my best friend. Janis made all of our family events special. She was so unconditional in all that she did for others. She is one of (if not) the most unselfish persons, I have ever known. She would do anything for her family and friends. She took wonderful care of Our Parents in the elderly years of their lives and through-out their illness. Her passing has left a terrible pain in my heart and a void in my life: As cancer took her quickly from us, her faith and comfort in Our Lord Jesus Christ never wavered. I know she is at peace with The Lord.
It is difficult to put into words just how much she means to me and my family, and to express how very much she is missed by all. I love her with all my heart, and I miss her more and more with each passing day; and I always will.

Janis worked endless hours taking care of her parents during their last years and with my dad before that. Life has been hard with out her but it also has been better because of all the years that I knew and spent with her.
