Rita Lynn Burke Isaac, 52, traveled home into God’s open arms on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from her home in Wise. Rita struggled with cancer for years and was surrounded by her loving family. Rita was of the Christian Faith and was baptized in 1968. Rita was an active member of Wise Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Rita was born in Canton, Ohio in 1960. Rita was the 1st born daughter of Kenneth and Allie Burke. Rita and her family moved back to Kentucky where she grew up in McRoberts, KY. Rita attended Jenkins High School and graduated in 1978. In 1978 Rita became an employee of First Security Bank now known as Community Trust Bank (CTBI). Rita worked at CTBI for 34 years and currently holds the title of Vice President, Regional Operations Manager, East Region. Rita loved her job, bank and all her fellow employees. Rita attended college at the University of Kentucky, South Eastern Community College and graduated in 1998 while working full time at CTBI. Rita proclaimed CTBI was the best in everything. Rita was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Roy Burke; maternal grandparents, Bill and Jessie Johnson; and paternal grandparents, Prentice and Sarah Burke. Rita is survived by her loving husband Wayne Isaac; a son, James Adam Sexton and wife Nicole of Norton, VA; a daughter, Lori Beth Isaac of Richmond, KY; her mother, Allie Burke of McRoberts, KY; sister, Carolyn Yonts and husband Keith of McRoberts, KY; one sister-in-law, Brandi Hall of Wise, VA; Rita was blessed with three precious grandchildren, Andrew, Lily and Anna; Rita had a special nephew (aka grandson) Braden Hall, a dear niece Kristen Yonts and a special cousin, Mike Burke; Rita also received support and love from her extended family and friends. Rita will be missed by her family, friends and co-workers. Rita will always be remembered for her loving smile, professionalism and Christian Values. Funeral services for Rita Isaac will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Wise Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Jones and Pastor Mike Winters officiating. The Family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Wise Baptist Church from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. with a reception following the service in the fellowship hall.
