Jackie Rowlette (Damron) - Class Of 1951

Funeral services for Minnie Jacqueline “Jackie” Damron, 76, were held March 4. Burial was in the Jenkins-Payne Gap Cemetery. 

Born in Harrogate, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Millard and Gracie Mae Estep Rowlette. She was the mother of the late Randall Everette Damron and a sister of the late Jean Ervin and Ronald Rowlette. She died February 27 at her home in Jenkins. 

Mrs. Damron worked at a nursing home and attended the Burdine Church of God of Prophecy. 

She is survived by two daughters, Grace Elizabeth “Betsy” Addington and husband David, Burdine, and Lisa Jacqueline Wiley and husband Billy, King, N.C.; three sons, Glenn Michael Damron and wife Cindy, Lynchburg, Va.; Richard Douglas Damron and wife Cynthia, Jenkins; and Millard Shawn Damron and wife Jennifer, Minot, N.D.; 12 grandchildren, Summer, April, Ashley, Chad, Sara, Tara, Kaylin, Kody, Samantha, Brittany, Harley, and Cheyenne; four greatgrandchildren, Bryce, Sage, Adriana, and Brooklyn; two sisters, Opal Kaylor and Donna Henderson, both of Roanoke, Va.; and a brother, Jim Rowlette, Abingdon, Va.
