Truman Nathaniel Thompson, 70, of Whitesburg passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Bluegrass Love Navigators in Hazard, Kentucky., Truman was the son of the late James and Corine Todd Thompson. Surviving is his wife: Juanita Thompson; 1 son: Nathaniel Thompson of Whitesburg; 1 daughter: Kimberly (Brian) Lowe of Whitesburg; 2 brothers: Lucious Thompson of Louisville and Jerry Thompson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; 3 sisters: Barbara Cannon of Chicago, Illinois, Willie Holland of Jenkins, and Beatrice Pack of Cleveland, Ohio; 3 grandchildren: Aubrey, Audriana, and Harmonie and 1 on the way. Truman was preceded in death by 1 brother: James Thompson; 1 sister: Bernice Thompson. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M.Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church with Steve Peake and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Friday at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
