Melissa Mullins Frazier

Graduation seems so long ago. I spent the next 6 years after graduation mostly in Madison County, Kentucky. I graduated from Berea College in 1998 with my degree in Child & Family Studies with an emphasis in Nutrition/Dietitics. During my 4 years at Berea I lettered all four years in Varsity Basketball and Varsity Softball. To my own surprise I even held the school record for the most 3 point goals in 1 game for 8 years with 8. I was blessed to find the love of my life at Berea College. Donnie and I met in 1995, were engaged in 1997, and married in 1999. This May we will be celebrating our 10th year of marriage.
After graduation from Berea, I completed my Dietetic Internship through Marshall University in Huntington, WV before becoming a Registered Dietitian. And later completed my Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at Eastern Kentucky University.
Donnie and I moved back to Letcher County in the summer of 2000 and I have been trapped back in the mountains ever since. Just kidding I love it here. Anyway after the blur of children the changes in jobs we now reside in Wise, VA with our two beautiful daughters Bailey and Brooklyn.
I have been employeed for the last 7 years at Mountain View Regional Medical Center, formerly St. Mary's Hospital in Norton, VA, as the Director of Food & Nutrition Services and the Clinical Dietitian. Donnie is a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Longs Fork Elementry and the Head Girls Basketball and Cross Country Coach at Clintwood High School.
To my own disbelief I have become a coaches wife and PTA mom.
