Dr. Douglas Lee Sehorne Jr., 69, of Clarksburg, formerly of Kentucky, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born Dec. 31, 1953, in Neon, Ky., to Douglas Lee and Irene (Mullins) Sehorne.

Doug spent over 50 years in ministry in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky and South Carolina. Over his career, he started three churches. Since moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to family, he attended the Aultman Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and Bible study. He had written over 25 books.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vicki (Anderson) Sehorne, of Aultman; a daughter, Valerie I. Howe (Ken), of Virginia; two sons, Jeremy D. (Katie), of Aultman, Matthew D. (Bethany), of South Carolina, and Matthew D.; eight grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Wyatt, Gabriel, Rocco, Dixiana, Benjamin, Jack and Adria; mother Irene Sehorne, of Florida; three brothers, Paul Sehorne (Judy), of Texas, Mark Sehorne (Diane), of Florida, and David Sehorne (Donna), of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
